About Us |
|
|
The Santana Center was named after a special horse called Santana Satin and Gold. He belonged to Kathy Castro, the founder of the Santana Center. He was a palomino saddlebred who had lived a tough life, but became an important teacher for Kathy, both in life and in death. He was euthanized in 2004 after suffering a traumatic back injury at the age of 14. The Santana Center was incorporated in the state of Rhode Island in November 2004 and is an approved federal 501(C)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization. |
